about
We are culture and heritage planning experts, focused on guiding the UK’s most prestigious institutions and sites through the planning process for major transformational works.

We provide planning strategies and deliver planning and listed building consents for capital developments ranging from masterplans across large sites to projects involving individual buildings. We also work for a range of historic estates, providing day to day planning advice.
We can assist from the initial concept, throughout design development and the negotiations with the Council and relevant parties, through to securing the relevant planning permissions and starting the development on site.
The Planning Lab has worked extensively in London. We are familiar with the policies and preferred processes of many of the central London Boroughs, Historic England and the GLA, with wider cultural links across the UK. We have worked with many world class architects and specialist teams.
We are aware of the public pressures and responsibilities facing many of our clients. We can help navigate these, alongside the delivery of clear, concise and honest planning advice.
